The Harrison Family Sneak Peek

Fall photos are in full swing and I got the opportunity recently to do photos for the Harrison family again. It's been awhile and last year that welcomed their son Cayden, who I got to photograph for the first time. Cayden definitely kept us busy and the photos candid... just what I love!

Here are some of my favorite photos from a quick little mini session I did this past weekend at the Wake Forest Seminary. These busy boys were a challenge to work with, but I loved how creative this family was with their ideas for what they wanted in their photos. They were so fun to work with!

Believe it or not, this was a super cold day. Maddison's mom had previously purchased this beautiful dress and didn't want to change it last minute. Maddison's little eyes were watery from the wind and she was cold, but was a trooper through the unexpected weather. I am pleased with how these photos turned out.

Another session at Joyner Park. Everyone loves this place! The park is usually so packed when I go out there and this weekend was no exception. I am pretty sure everyone was trying to get in their last minute fall photos before the leaves change and it gets too cold outside. I can't wait to share the rest of these photos. This little girl, Maddison is too cute!

Rick and Amanda are close friends and I have been taking their family photos for a few years now. Amanda is pregnant with her second child, a boy, so not only was this a fall shoot for them, it was a maternity shoot as well. amanda still has a about a month and a half to go before she is due with her little guy, but with the holidays coming up, we are all going to be too busy to fit in time for another shoot.

Some of the photos here were inspired by Melissa's maternity session recently. I loved her ideas so much I knew I had to recreate them here with Rick and Amanda.

The Dement Family Sneak Peek

I recently had the opportunity to do fall/maternity photos for my best friend and her family. Rick and Amanda are expecting their second child, a little boy, the middle of January, and with the holidays coming up, she wanted to be sure she was able to get some maternity photos before the big day. This location is definitely a favorite of all my friends, family, and clients, so it's no wonder we always end up here, at Joyner Park. we had a blast, the trees had lots of beautiful fall colors, and the weather was perfect. Here is a little sneak peek of Gracie.

This impromptu session turned out to be one of the best for my children. These were just a few of my favorites. Although it is early fall, we wanted to get a jump start on our photos for the season because I know we will be so busy in the upcoming months. My son Jacob from this past weekend. I took my children out to Joyner Park for our last minute fall family photos. I've been here for several other photography sessions and have always had great success with photos in front of their rock wall. However, almost no cooperation was involved so our time there was quick.
